Game Objective: Players sit in a circle and pass a large potato around to each other while the music plays. If the music stops the player holding the potato is out of the game.

Rules:
Someone is chosen to play the music. This is usually an adult or party organizer. Place the players sitting on the floor or on seats in a circle. Give one of the players a large potato, ball or other large round fruit. The person in control of the music must have their back to the players. Start the music and the player with the potato must pass it clockwise. Players keep passing the potato clockwise to the other players until the music player stops the music. The player holding the potato when the music stops is out of the game. When there is only one player left he / she is the winner and the game ends.

Hints: The object of the game is to pass the potato to another player as soon as you receive it. Imagine if the potato was very hot and you were unable to hold it, Hence the name Hot Potato.
