Kid party game 24: Charades
Number of Players: 6+
Category: Teams. Thinking.
Game Objective: Players describe various films or TV shows or books to their teammates by using actions without speech.
Rules:
Place in a large bowl a number of folded pieces of paper with various TV shows, films or books written on them which the children are familiar with. Break the group into two teams. Players from each team take turns by taking a piece of paper from the bowl. After reading what is written on it they must act out clues for their teammates in the hope that they can guess the TV show/ film / Book. While acting out these glues they must not speak a word, if they do speak the points go to the other team. Their teammates have a time limit to try and guess the answer. (Approximately 5 minutes.) They are awarded a point for each correct answer given. If the team does not guess within the time limit the other team are allowed one guess to try and steal the point.
The winners are the ones with the most points at the end of the game.
Game ends when each player on the teams has preformed two charades.
To lengthen the game, just extend the number of times each player performs a charade or put a time limit on the game.

Large bowl or jar.
Pen and paper
List of TV shows / Films / Books which everyone should be familiar with.
