Kid party game 9: Romeo and Juliet

Game objective: Like musical chairs, except players use their teammates instead of the chairs.

Rules: All the girl players form a circle linking hands and facing outwards. All the male players link hands and form a circle around and facing the girls. The music starts and the male players rotate in a clockwise direction and the female players rotate in an anti clockwise direction. When the music stops the players must stop moving. The person you are facing is your partner in the game. Now that all players have partner they all spread out in the room or dance floor. When the music starts all players dance. When the host stops the music and shouts Romeo the boys go down on one knee and the girls must sit on their knee as quick as possible. Last one to sit down is out. When the host shouts Juliet all the girls go down on one knee and the boys sit on their knee. Same again last one to sit down is out. Keep playing the music and stopping to say Romeo or Juliet till there is only two players left. They are the winners. If a player falls off their partners knee when sitting down they are also out of the game. This game is best played fast.
